I think the black over flow looks good and helps keep it neat. there is a whole bunch of stuff going on, on this side of the bay, yet ive managed to keep it very neat and organized.

^ you can also see where I mounted the horn relay on the overflow mount. the mass of wires is the engine harness. which will of course be moved to the engine once it goes in. And all 4 horns were mounted using existing holes, without needing to drill the body at all.

Im still waiting on my parts jeep to arrive. Its been raining non stop here, so he hasnt been able to get his tow truck up there to pull it out of the mud...since i have just about finished the body, im about to just go drive the jeep out.

Quote: I think it looks super clean, I taped off the add/fill area so its still functional.
That'd be my only complaint of painting it is taking away the ability to see what level your coolant is, but if you taped it off so its functional then That'd be fine. Dont want to tell where you got the tires do you? haha

That Jeep 4.0 litre inline 6 is one tough Hombre, and your story just proves it. I drive mine to work and home everyday and beat on it hardcore every weekend and it just starts right back up at a turn of the key!!!

Quote: my problem is, I know if I saw it on another jeep, I would def make fun of it, and think it was a redneck rigged up piece of trash.

Dad doesnt think any of that will matter because the jeep will be a DD/reliable/trail-capable machine, that will most likely run 12s, def 13s in the 1/4....im kinda considering running the weird blower thing, with dual throttle bodies. and then adding some N20 which would def put the jeep into the 11s. which is pretty dang good, for a grocery getting trail rated DD

sorry to be the negative nancy but your wifes liberty does not run 9s. We have to be talking about something different. Im talking in the quarter mile. an SRT8 jeep doesnt even run 12s. IF i can keep up with a stock srt8 when Im done I would have accomplished tons for the 4.0
