while I was putting my bike away I just stumbled across my old turbo that I picked up to boost my jeep, back before I decided to go dual TBs and shoot for NA power. It will prolly go up for sale too.

I went to the fab shop and got some more work accomplished.
I removed the webbing from the intake manifold and cleaned up all the surfaces and welds. cut on a IAC block off plate for my second TB. and had my front HP D30 teraflex cover powder coated wrinkle black

thanks. I started cleaning the manifold and TBs up today to get them ready for paint. I got ahold of the man who originally made this manifold today, and he is mailing me his linkage for the dual setup. we also went over the little corners he cut when he was on a tight time constraint, so this manifold will be perfected here this week, coated, and be ready all very soon. sorry the pics are so dark, but I had already close up shop when I realized I forgot about you guys.
good news is I MAY have just gotten a big fab contract so the jeep will hopefully not be on a tight budget, which means lockers, N20, and maybe a 6-speed.

well Im hoping to not have to have much more than a MAP translator. since the jeep runs off of MAP instead of MAF then I will still be getting one reading and the computer should be able to dump enough fuel equal to the MAP. since the CR hasnt changed and its not FI the motor will be sucking the air in, so the computer should be able to handle it. As I stated I picked up new injectors, and Im hoping that is enough. If not I have AFPR and will make an adjustable MAP... If it still doesnt run right then I will just block off one of the TBs and wait to install megasquirt
i know you don't want to talk about the tires, but whats the speed rating on them? If they are the alliance agricultural grassland flotation tires in 31x15.50/15, then they are only B speed rated...a max rated speed of a whopping 31 mph... if you have had them up to 120 as you have claimed, you are putting yourself and others in pretty serious danger. Furthermore, they aren't DOT approved, so if you do have an accident resulting from tire failure on the highway and someone is injured, you are screwed. If you were only trailing or whatever then it wouldn't be such a big deal. I just don't like seeing people put others in danger.

I finished cleaning up the manifold today, and it will be finished sometime this week, maybe tomorrow. I also painted both TBs, and clean and coated my thermostat housing. this should help with under hood temps. maybe only 1-2 degrees, but every little thing adds up

BTW just to clear up some of the info about ordering the Allied 221 Ag tires, if you street your jeep DO NOT order those tires. they are not DOT approved, they are ILLEGAL to run on a licensed/insured vehicle and any accident (even not tire related) can be deemed not covered by the insurance company and you would be 100% at fault even if you were technically not the one at fault.

And you mean these?
http://www.alliance.co.il/eng/search...ducts_id=19012
the 221 only comes in a 31"
and they are not DOT approved.
a direct quote:
Alliance agricultural tires are designed for top performance under all working conditions. They are manufactured for agricultural and forestry jobs, including occasional on the road driving. Before using them for any other type of work consult the manufacturer.
and here is some info for everyone on the tires direct off their website to show the max speed rating of 50kh/h or 31 mph
