Nothing much happening in the past month or two here just because it's been winter. The duralast battery that was in it when I bought it is finally going out, so I'm gonna have to replace that pretty soon here, and come spring I'd like to start thinking about some Napier precision fender flares.

Replace the battery a few days ago at work with an interstate, and just bought a new radiator, so I plan on trying to get that installed after work tonight.

Hey I noticed you were asking about hub bolts. I bought Timken hubs and they do not come with new hub bolts. Mine were in good shape so I just put some anti seize on and re used. Good luck on yours. Project is looking good.

Got the new radiator in tonight. All is good no leaks. Everything g went really smooth until I lost the radiator cap about two inches away from where it goes on lol.

Fins were crumbling on both sides.

All shiny like

What rad did you end up getting? OE single row replacement with plastic tanks? I need to replace mine and was debating an upgrade to a 2 or 3 row, but I think I'll just go with an OE replacement since I don't beat my XJ up too much.

Yeah just a single row, with plastic. Install is pretty straight forward without too much of a headache.

So the Jeep developed a wobble in the front end today when you go 60+. Stopped and re torqued the trac-bar bolts and it didn't really seem to do anything. I'm stumped. Any ideas anyone?!?

Old enough I guess. Might as well just get some V8 ZJ tre then. There's a fair amount of play in them so worth a try I guess.

So I never ended up getting the tie rods replaced but that shimmy went away. In MN we've had some warm then cold days and I was messing around in the snow with it and got a bunch of slush up inside the wheels that froze. It got warm today and melted and everything is back to normal.
