Thanks! It's been a learning experience for sure!
And also I bought a new output shaft seal for the front half of the transfer case, so I plan to get that replaced pretty quick here when it warms up. Also gonna be taking it from MN to Florida this coming week so hopefully everything goes well with that!

Got back from Florida a couple of days ago and the Jeep did great. Didn't even burn any oil and it was about a 1300 mile trip one way!

The new ride 😎 Just got it tonight. Its got about 6" if lift, and 35s on it, and almost no rust. It is sun bleached though as it did come from wyoming. Main concern right now will be to quick patch up the driver side floor pan. I'm also thinking i may take it down to 33s sometime so that im not stuffing tires into the wheelwell all the time. Plan to take it out this Friday and put it through its paces.

Pretty nice! What does it have altogether? And what about the other XJ?

Just the basics. It's a short arm with adjustable uppers, with what looks like 3" coils and a 3" spacer up front. In fact Most of it just barely gets it by. The rear brake line is pretty tight just sitting there, so I'm gonna need to swap that out with the extended one I never put on the old XJ. 35" Grabbers, rugged ridge flares, and completely stock steering parts! So First on the to do list is plugs and wires, longer rear brake line, patch the small rust spot on the floor, and give it some proper steering components.

Gotta love peoples half-assed builds. If that's running on stock gears, it's gotta be a dog! You gonna start a different build thread or just continue on with this one?

I'll prolly just start a new one. And yup, it's on 3.55s lol. That's part of the reason I'm thinking about going down to 33s just because I'm probably gonna be moving from MN to FL this fall, so I need to save as much cash as possible. Kind of a horse apiece though with cost.
