thanks guys! (i'm 17 now btw)
Last week my blower motor resistor burnt out, so I had a few very cold drives to school. I replaced it on friday and it took all of 20 minutes. I love easy fixes! Anyway, I've been real busy with school so I haven't done much else in the last few weeks.

When you did your headliner,(after tearing of the old fabric) was there hard cardboard, and then a small bit of foam with a tiny layer of fabric on top of it?

I've been really busy with school and I'm starting a new job in a few weeks so it's been hard to find time to do much...
The last two weeks I spent building the senior homecoming float for my school's homecoming parade. I also got to pull a trailer with my jeep for the first time!

But today I had some free time and I built up the courage to finally cut my fenders and install my Bushwackers!
before the cut

scariest thing ever I swear

but everything went smoothly and I got the fronts on

I also trimmed my bumper caps with the cut off wheel because they looked weird and I've also always wanted to take off that middle piece that hangs down too low

And that's all I got done today. I'm going to do the rear fenders sometime this week or next weekend. I'm also hoping to get at least one more wheeling trip in this fall!

Thanks!
I had a day off earlier this week, so I finished up the rear fenders. These definitely gave me more trouble than the front fenders too. I bought my bushwackers used, so I didn't expect them to be perfect, but I was really unimpressed with bushwackers installation instructions, especially for the rear flares. Everything seemed to go much more smooth after I threw away the instructions and used my own judgement
But anyway, bushwacker makes some killer fender flares and they look awesome once they're installed!

Yes, the front leaf spring bolts were quite a hassle. I used a socket with a decent sized extension to get the wrench out past the body, and since the bolts were so seized up, I used a 5 foot pipe on the end of the wrench and went about an eighth of a turn at a time. It took forever, but it worked!
