Here's how I did the wiring for the lights...

I got everything on the roof in the right order

and then drilled a hole (I filled it with black silicone after this)

I ran the wires through the headliner and then down the weather strip inside the door jam...

From there, I ran the wires through the inside of the fender and into the engine bay through a nice hole that was already there

the relays are only a few inches away from the hole and the power source

not too bad, but I hate the look of messy wires in an engine bay...

then I ran the wires back into the car and up into the ash tray

and that's where the switches are

I also cleaned up the wires here and on the roof

Love your build!!! I am nearly complete putting my lift on my black 2000 limited. I wanted to go with BFG ats but looking at your rig, those duratracs look mighty finee... What backspacing on the rims did you go with? 3.75?

My brother moved to California this week, but before he left we got out to take some pictures of both of our cars. He's helped me out so much with building my jeep so far and it's really been a great summer with him. Here's my XJ and his Subaru Forester.

Tomorrow is my last official day of summer and school starts on Tuesday, so I've had to put some projects on hold for a little while. Anyway, since it's been an awesome summer of Jeep building, I thought I'd just go over everything I did this summer real quick.
June:
- Intalled 3.5” Rubicon Express Super Ride Lift Kit RE6025
RE1171 Sway Bar disconnect adapters
RE1175 Sway Bar end links
RE1300 3.5” coil springs
RE1463 3.5” Leaf Spring with bushing
RE3705 Fixed super ride lower control arms
- Installed used Pro Comp adjustable track bar
- Installed 2007-2013 JK Rubicon Wrangler Shocks (new take offs) with slight modification to allow use of bar pins
- Installed black Cragar Soft 8 wheels (15x8, 5x4.5 bolt pattern, 4” backspacing) and 31x10.5x15 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires
- Installed Cherokee Classic seats and deep cleaned interior
- Replaced all the O2 Sensors
- Fabricated my roof rack
- Installed Rubicon Express steering stabilizer RXT2000B
- Installed 4 KC 57 Series off road lights
- Went wheeling for the first time
and here's the before and after:

For now I'm going to try to focus on some more of the regular maintenance stuff. I need to change all of the fluids, fix some electrical issues, fix the AC, and clean the engine bay real good. I'm sure there's a lot more though lol.
I'm working on some plans for building a front and rear bumper with a swing out tire carrier and a ladder for the hatch. I've to two hours of metal/wood shop in school everyday so hopefully I'll be able to get some stuff done this year!
