my 96 slow progress build.
Picked up my 96 Country a few weeks back.
Here she is a few days after I got her, screwing around at work.
about a week after I got her the torque converter went so I went to a buddy's place and swapped it out
welded up an exhaust leak while I was at it
wired in a CB along with a little freshening up of the stereo system. just a new head unit a couple door speakers and a small powered 8" sub to round it out.
added a couple little things to hang from the rear view to really make her mine
blacked out the grill and put on some new rotors, rebuilt the calipers and put on some new pads at work.
then I ordered a 3.5" AAL RE super ride lift
and got some 31x10.50 15's Federal Couragia's
and Sunday I'll be installing the lift and putting the tires on either Sunday or Tuesday.
Next up I'm planning on some Rugged Ridge D windows, and then buying some tubing and sheet metal and welding up a front bumper with some recovery points and a winch mount.

well for all of my adoring fans following this build (read: none) lol, I got the lift in today. Everything went really smoothly surprisingly enough. the only bolts that broke were bolts that weren't going back in anyways. need some new shocks now cause the ones on there are maxed out. But overall she looks good. I'm happy with how it turned out. I just need to get my new tires mounted and balanced and get it aligned. I'll have some pictures up hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday after I get my new tires on. looks kinda goofy with the stock size tires on haha.

thanks man. I'm beside my self excited. I had a wrangler a little while back but when I got it it already had a lift and some 33's on it. although they were A/T's. this is my first jeep I've been able to put the lift on my self and get some real M/T's.

Thanks! I believe the website was tire savings.com. I'll check the paperwork when I get home. Heck of a deal though. 660 shipped to my door.

The adjustable track bar obviously then some d windows and then I'm gonna buy some metal tubing and some sheet metal and fab up a new bumper. Then a winch. It'll be slow going now that class is back in though. Funds are tight.

Nice. Yeah I had a blast with my wrangler but it's just more fun doing it your self. I've got more of a connection with it doing it my self

Front end is way out of alignment so I just ordered an adjustable front track bar so hopefully that gets here soon. But other than that she's drivin like a dream. These federals are surprisingly very quiet and well behaved on road.
