cool, i might go with a smaller one then

So I made my tie rod bar, got some 280 wall 1.25" DOM tapped for 3/4" hiems, then got a 1.5" DOM 120 wall tube and used it as a sleeve and slide it over the 280, making it 400 wall and welded her on, Picked up a 3.8" tube clamp for the ram mount on the tie rod. I am just waiting on my ram mount now then I'll throw it all on.

anyway, 280 wall on the left, 120 on the right

Will those Heims allow for any play in the steering? I know they are more ideal for offloading with large tires but aren't they less secure on road?

Nope, they are a "ball and socket" setup just like a tie rod. they have no slop in them at all.

haha! my naxja is the SICKEST NAXJA!

well, the update is as fallows. (without pics at the moment) I got some new springs, raised it about 1.5" to get more belly clearance by installing new RE springs front (5.5" coils) and rear (4.5" leafs) putting my total lift height at 6.5" F+R. which has given me a better ride on the street, and I no longer bottom out all the time on my bump stops with normal driving.

I also bought some 6* weld on degree shims and welded them onto the spring perch (better then the centering pin BS)

I also got some brake lines made so they wont tug when fully flexed and turning. 34" up front, and 25" rear, so there should be no problem with not enough (just waiting on some fittings)

I also installed a home brew T/case shifter for my T/case and got rid of the factory BS. just like this... (take from BSfab.net)

IDK what else I am forgetting. lol

No update on my Stroker (still waiting on pistons) thinking about bagging the low compression idea and just running stock pistons to get about 10-1 compression ratio and running premium all the time. but IDK, just getting impatient.

No update on the Hydraulic assist either, been pretty busy at work lately and hasn't left me with much motivation for after hours work...

maybe once I get back from vacation...

Make sure you check the bolts on your rod ends often, they like to loosen a lot

did you finish your tcase shifter? I got my mini rod ends and everything for it, it just looks on mine that the angle between the arm from the hand lever, and the arm on the tcase is too steep. I dunno if mine being a manual brings the tcase farther forward, or what?

I've got them! I love lock nuts, I use them when ever possible.

yes sir I did, It works just fine. took me a little to get it all adjusted and positioned correctly, but it is working just fine now. I had to flip the plate for the t/case lever to get it to work (compared to most pics I have seen) put it on so it tilts back towards the case as much as possible.

you do have the S10 231 shift lever plate right? makes the lever point up rather then down? I modified my linkage because I lost the ability to shift into 2wd once I came out of it, there was to much slop in the factory setup and the shift lever would hit the body before it would shift into 2wd.
