I assume you got 2 master install kits, with a front carrier and 4.56s??

there is a shop around here that does them for I think $100 per axle. just call around to some shops and tell them you'll bring them 2 axles, completely removed from your jeep, and completely gutted of all internals. that way all they have to do is install gears and send you on your way. hugely cuts down the labor cost

If you're gonna take them out and all the way apart you might as well just do them yourself. If you can read a torque wrench you can install gears. That way you know they are set up the way you want. You'd be surprised the way some shops set them up, most old timers set them up by feel anyway so why pay 600 to 700 for some joe reading the instructions, most gears come stamped on the pinion with the length and you just subtract that from the stock pinion length, which gives you a starting point for a shim stack

heres a good article on gear installation. tools aint cheap. you'll need a press and a few other specific tools.
