Yeah, I did the spectre intake recently. I love it! You can hear the throttle open and close inside the cab.

Not to hijack, but what stops water that's thrown up on the hood from going into those vents and getting sucked up? Dang, what if its raining?

Actually, not sure if there's a drain or something but that's where your heat/ac pulls air from. I drove through a heavy rain last night and there were no problems.

Is the cone located in that bulge in the tube? If so I guess its pretty well out of the way.

I used this to do mine...

Magic eraser and a drill. Works great for the glue and to take pinstripes and stuff off.

I didn't have a magic eraser so I just used brake cleaner to break down the epoxy stuff and a plastic paint scraper to get it off... Took awhile lol

Doing the removal of the friggin door crap now, was using good off and plastic scrapers. 1.5 doors done! May try brake cleaner next lol. Pain in the ***!

just make sure you wash the area and throw wax on it. that harsh chemical will eat through.
just sayin.
