Your welds look nice man don't sweat it. Hopefully I'll have a little weld **** to post soon once I run a dedicated outlet for my welder.

Im pretty happy with how its turning out. Just tough running long beads, maybe I just get impatient.

I suppose since they are getting ground down I could always start/stop, but wheres the fun in that.

Dude that is some great news! Sounds like your Jeep is going to be back on the ground in no time now.

Thats the plan, jeep will be getting worked on in between races every other weekend. Should have it back on 4 wheels shortly after my 3-link arrives.

All the parts I need are already sitting in my garage. Just have to finish a little welding on the LT front frame stiffener, cut off the LT body-side LCA mount, bolt the new steering box in and then the front suspension will be ready to go in.

One solid weekend and it should be good to go.

Let me know when you are ready to do some wheelin! Mine will be 100% ready to go after the shackle relocation boxes go in and hopefully that is this weekend.

The heat is coming fast! Shoot it was 88° yesterday. Good news is that my dad just put an offer on a house in Arrowhead. It is 3 houses away from the main trail up there. If it all goes through, that will be the summer wheelin go to spot. Does it get crazy hot up your way?

Making progress. Frame stiffeners all the way around are complete. Also go the track bar bracket in place. Put two stitch welds on it for added security incase the bolts were to ever work themselves loose.

Then got everything in the first coat of paint and undercoating. Cleaned the stiffener install up nicely and should help with corrosion protection.

Dirtbound DIY bumper is also coming along. Still have some welding and grinding left to do but it's looking like a bumper.

Stiffeners primed and track bar bracket welded. Theres also a weld on the bottom side.

First coat of undercoating.

Bumper looking like a bumper.

A closer up pic since I've started the grinding and clean up process.

what undercoating are you using. Being in the wonderful rust belt of NJ, my **** is getting rusty and I need to get under there and help the ol girl out. I was thinking por-15 with a coat of regular rubberized undercoating to finish it off.

I use mostly SEM brand products. However 3m makes one that is comparable and also very good.

Getting closer. My CavFab crossmemeber showed up today. Links are shipping out separately. The side tie in brackets didn't arrive with the crossmember so hopefully they will arrive with the links. I can get the crossmember mostly mocked up at least. Then should go pretty quick when I get the side brackets and links.

Snapped a few pics on my lunch break for your viewing pleasure.

Cleaned up, primed and the first coat of paint on the 3-link crossmemeber.
