I don't think I'm going to drop coin on PSC either. I've been talking to redhead steering gear. May give them a shot.

Just the way you're holding it, like a mug of coffee.

Very purty. What are the details on it?

How much of a tooth did you have to grind down for the 4.88's in the 8.25? i just installed them in mine and it was quite a bit, wasnt to happy with it but didnt see a way around it.

edit: whoops just saw where you said how much you had to take off

I'll snap a photo tonight. It was quite a bit but i wasnt too worried about it based off the drive/coast pattern on my gear setup.

It definitely hurt grinding a brand new ring gear though.

My gear install this weekend made my shortcomings as a DIY-er apparent and pointed out a gaping hole in my shop tools.

Just went and bought a 20-ton harbor freight press. On sale plus a 20% coupon. For just over 100 bucks I now feel like a more complete man. Dial indicator and mag base setup are also on my list, but those won't be purchased at harbor freight.

I need to do the same. That is dirt cheap too. Time to find the 20% coupon! How tall does it stand?

Took a whopping 20 minutes to put together. In true man fashion, didn't even use the crappy directions.

Yes i know its a picture of the backside but I didn't want to spend the effort to turn it around and needed to include the jeep in the photo.

And here's a photo of how much clearancing I had to do on the ring gear to get the cross pin out. Small die grinder made quick work of it.

Removed as little material as possible, stopped and checked regularly. Then slightly broke the edges so the teeth has nice radiused corners. Shouldn't be an issue.

Nice gear setup, I have a similar build going on right now, 35's, 4.88's next week, and Cavfab long arms. Any update to shipping times on the long arms for you?

That set-up seems to be popular for good reason.

Cant wait to get mine all together.

HURRY UP!!! I'm patiently waiting for this suspension build!

BTW, what size square tubing did you use to run from your sliders to your frame? I was thinking 2x2 or 2x3.
