Haha, I never noticed that. The northeast loves Jeeps!

I live in a tiny town called Dennysville (no joke), but go to school up in Orono.
My 4 door was found on Uncle Henrys, I believe... so I'm even.
I think I will send you a pm, sir... I have something you may be interested in.

Thanks, and I loved that thing too. I never actually measured the spacers on my old one, it could have been a little more than 2". Just went by what the previous owner had said.

Thank you.

I got my lift about 2 weeks ago, and my tires came in a few days ago. My wheels should be here Monday. I also have to order a steering stabilizer and adjustable trac bar.

Rusty's 3" lift w/ full leaf packs

Black Diamond steering stabilizer

Rusty's adjustable trac bar

31 x 10.5 Pro Comp Xtreme A/T tires

15 x 8 Pro Comp 8179 wheels

That'll be my setup, which I'm planning to have installed by April 8th. That gives me a couple weeks to gather the the last couple parts I need, as well as a few more paychecks.

Thanks, Rich! Yours has come a long way. I don't think mine will ever get to that point, but everything you do for SAR, I think that's awesome! I'm sure many people appreciate it. Keep up the good work.[/QUOTE]

Thanks man, we really do love being a part of Search and rescue. Its just what we do Yours is moving right a long! Look how far you've got in a short time, man! I drove mine around all stock for a year and went hunting with my buddy that was running 34" swampers and a 6" lift on his XJ. That was kind of humbling But thats OK!
Hey! I can't wait to see how it turns out. Your doing great!
Keep up the good work man! Dont forget Pictures! Pictures! Pictures! We love pictures

I definitely won't be shy with the pictures, don't worry! Actually, if I wasn't spending so much money on this Jeep, I'd be getting a new camera.

I'm hoping these turn out to be the perfect tire for me. I like them because they're a little more beefy than the average all terrain tire, but they're not a full on mud terrain either. This thing will still be spending a lot of time on the road.

Thanks for the good words so far. I'm just counting down the days (cough... 9... cough) until I get everything put in.

I ordered my stabilizer and trac bar today so those should be in this week. While I was at it, I also ordered some H4 housings and bulbs so I can upgrade my headlights.

One step closer...

Also got my new headlights in today. They are IPF H4 housings with Hella 55w xenon blue bulbs. I'll definitely post comparison pics vs. stock lights when I get them in.

Lift goes in Tuesday!

I took some measurements to see how much lift I end up gaining. From the center of the hub to the bottom of the front fender flares is 17.5 inches, rear is 17.25. Ground to bottom of rocker panel is 15 inches. Also, I'll do one more fill up to determine my final gas mileage before the bigger tires go on.
Lots of pictures by the end of the week
