I bought that one already lifted, and it did not have a transfer case drop or SYE. Not sure about shims, but it didn't have any vibrations. I believe just using shims would be fine.

Hey Biceps! I have another question. I was reading about drive-line vibes, and people with 97+ XJ's got them with only 2" of lift :/ When you still had that 4 door you showed me, did you have to do anything with the drive-lines? If I got vibes, instead of doing an SYE or a t-case drop, would shims work? Thanks again!

Thanks! Ill think about it some more, I don't think I'll be getting a lift until next year by the looks of it now. Just finished looking through your build and its turning out sick

Hey, George. I remember reading your comment a while ago and forgot to reply. Honestly, I'm not too thrilled about the ride quality so far. It's reeeeally stiff, which I did expect to an extent. It's bringing out all the squeaks and rattles from everywhere in the body. I'll probably upgrade to some better shocks and go from there. Before using this as your decision, I just want to let you know that I am really picky when it comes to my vehicles. Everything has to be perfect or I'm not happy, haha. It is a good kit, though. As far as quality of the product, I couldn't be happier. Everything is really well made and seems like it's going to last a long time. Also, I've had the lift in for about 2000 miles now. Good luck with your build.

Hey man! Nice jeep. I was going through your build and saw that your getting the Rusty's 3 inch full lift kit, which is exactly the one I think I'm getting, although it will be in mid summer. I just turned 16 and I'm getting my permit soon, so I've got a ways to go. If you get that lift on could you tell me how it handles? Thanks!
