I made a new home for spare jeep parts .

I dig the shelves! I thought about getting some of those when I finally get around to cleaning the shop again. They are a really good price, it cost me about the same to build my heavy duty wooden shelves.

I have some shelving like that in my garage as well, but it is now completely full and I have parts stores over and under the jeep, inside the parts jeep, and under my work bench. I was thinking of putting in some upper cabinets along the back of the garage or one of those hanging storage spaces from the ceiling.

Guess that would mean 35" tires but I'm not going that big because then I would need to regear my axles, etc, etc... So now I'm not sure if I'll keep 6" coils because it probably won't look good with only 33" on it.

That was my first jeep, it had 6.5" and 33s it sat pretty good I think.

Actually I really dig that setup!!! You just inspired me to keep it going with the 6" lift. Damn you lol. Kidding its not going to cost me anything more except that I'm sure I'll need SYE kit now.

Yea these shelves are awesome and I would love to put more in. I'll get more though later when I buy my house and shop but I might just do like you did Kevin and build them.

The only downside to going from 4.5 to 6 is the height to get in lol

True but I'm 6' 1" so height isn't a big deal to me.

Jeep was in garage today I now have plenty of room to bring it in and work on it. Still can't keep it inside I have a few more things to get rid of first.

Looks good in the garage. That Jolly Roger flag will keep it safe.

What's funny is before I got to my ship USS KIDD I had that flag for my toy hauler when in the dunes. Never installed it and sold trailer anyhow.

My ship fly's the Jolly Roger as our namesake as we are the Pirates of the Pacific. Named after Admiral Kidd who died on the Arizona during Pearl Harbor. We are the only ship who gets to fly that flag

So yea I love it even more now

I dont remember if I said but ordered brackets and hardware from rough country so if it shows up by next weekend the front portion of the long arm kit is going in next weekend. I also sold some things this weekend so I have almost enough cash to buy (4) brand new 33" tires.

Wife was out and about so I snuck jeep in garage and installed my pillar mounts for LED flood lights.

She got home and said oh so it now starts with the jeep in garage lol. Yep because I'm prepping for lift going in this weekend. Needless to say she laughed and said fine

Nevermind the fact that while I was at work today my wife decided to sneak to hair dresser and cut her hair no it looks good I'm just a fan for her use to be long hair down past her butt! I understand her frustration though over this many years of the long hair she has been begging to cut it. So I think for now she is happy and I like it as she is letting me work on jeep in garage.

,
I too love long hair on a woman, it just makes them that much more feminine, but.... I say it's a good trade off for now.

I think there was that too. But one of our ships returned to port flying the Jolly Roger and the media got hysteric about it. lol

Know what though? I might be off track... It might not have been a ship but a submarine returning to port. I don't remember for sure.

Oh yeah, it was a submarine, up here close to me in Washington. I remember how they went on saying that the Jolly Roger only gets flown when a ship gets sunk and that we must have sank something. In reality it was for something more like a mission successfully executed or something. The lefties all went ape **** in seattle.
