Between work and rain I finally got some work done.

Mocked up the shackles, shackle bushing and rear xmember...

With weight on the springs.... almost 45* at the shackle.

looking good, i hear you on the rain and work...i haven't done much to mine either..at least nothing worthy of a update. Those shakles are sweet though. Is the uppper half going to be greaseable? Also you going to nutsert the bumper/ shakle tubes in the frame, or plate the rear and "burn through"?

Thanks... Yes, greasable uppers is on my to do list. I spent a few hours getting those factory shackle mounts out (PITA) so I can finish plating out the rear today. Then I will add some .250 plate to the shackle mount and burn that into the frame rails. I'm planning on adding some tube to serve as a bumper/rear slider.

Nice work man I like the angled rocker replacements-looks good. Looking forward to seeing how you do the comp cut. I have seen a few I really like and a few that are just hacked and don't look so great. Seems like you are taking the time to do stuff right tho.

Ya speaking of comp cut... I did make my first cut. Plan on triming it in tubing as I decide on a hybrid exo theme. lol.

Also of note... I cut down the overload spring on the leafs, along with removing part of the spring pack clamps. I will be redoing them differently as soon as I'm able to cycle the axles.

Keep going!!! Can't wait to see it running around town. I almost bought that from your dad weeks before he sold it to you. Nice Jeep before you started, nicer now.

Lol... she's still going! Front axle is all stripped out, working on the frame plating and planning for the coilover hoops with another 4" stretch forward. Need to relocate some engine compartment items to the firewall to make room. I should have some progress pics up next week.
