Got the Artec ram mount tacked in place and then removed the axle to make sure I could still install the locker etc. before final welding

So with my poor planning I'm waiting for some carrier/pinion bearings to finish her up before sliding her back under the rig.
Today I will start mock up of the PSC DE ram and linkage....

Nice, that is definitely what Im going with. I was worried about cleaning my brackets but from your pics and a couple others it looks like it should work great.

A little progress...
Trying to get the carrier in and out around the Artec ram mount didn't look like fun... so decided to get the locker and gears done before welding up the Artec mount...

Then I got side tracked.... bought this 86 Toyota for my oldest son who is about to get his drivers permit...

Finished up the ram mount... decided to add the third ram clamp.

And my ORI's showed up 3 weeks early!

New axle side mounts as the ORI's are about one inch shorter...

Busy... just not so much on the Jeep!
High Angle provided the rear CV shaft to 1410 yoke on the 14 bolt...
The Shaft...

Crossmember....

Not too enthused with the pinion guard... could be much tighter! Looking to change...

Good time to put in the lower frame mounts onto the crossmember... leafs are eventually scrap for the four link.

Was able to get some test fitting of some fender well tubing...

And finally sealed up the rear...

Always enjoy the updates on the rig. Like you, wish I had more time.mines been done, req and insured for months, made it out of the garage once..lol
Great build man, great Fab work. Did you have any issues with the cast on the 14B when welding to it? I'm planning on a shave kit as well so I'm looking for good tips on welding to it. I guess pre-heating and cover with heat blanket for a slow cool down will do the trick.
