Still working on the frame plating so I'll refrain from posting pics till I get closer to completion. Also got the 14B FF stripped and a shave kit ordered from TMR.

The big score last week was getting a new HO motor from my brother from another mother for a cool $500! The motor was one of three pulled off the factory assembly line back in 1993... never installed or fired! So this will be the foundation for my 4.6 stroker!

Worked on some frame plating and rear spring mounts.

Added some plate above the mount location...

Located mounts 2" back combined with 5" in the Dodge springs...

Seven inches of rear stretch...

Thanks!

I picked up a Everlast IGBT 50amp machine.... so far she works real nice! I put the tube bender on hold till I get the rear axle in place. I just need to mount the air/hyd ram and I should be ready to bend tube. I originally was setting this up in the horizontal, but to save floor space I figure vert the way to go.

Cool...I stayed horizontal for clearance.. Low roof, and a sloping driveway so it would have been to hard to level outside with multiple bends. I opted for full hyd bender..was only about 100 bucks more than the air over set up, if you want some info on that I can pm ya..helps keep the read more tech..lol. But love the build..keeping me motivated to do mine. Right now om just sittig on a pile of axles joints ect.come on over a give my build a surf and feel fee to critique.
