I saved the link. I probably should get one of those...
I think my exhaust may hit it at the front though.
My exhaust will definitely hit because I crushed it into the pan, but I'll just make it work for now and then I'll take it to the exhaust shop. As far as the powdercoat maybe I was thinking of stinkyfab racing's skid then.

Hmm i thought SFR was the only brand that made a aw4 skid. I like that fitment and that it comes powdercoated. SFR posted a while back about running Zinc plated skids.

This one looks like it hugs the pan much better at the front than the SFR one, but it may just be the angles of the pictures or something.

The oil pan is with my brother-in-law waiting to be welded up, I ordered some new 5-760x u joints that I'll put in one of my spare sets of shafts and I'll put the iron rock offroad almost alloy kit on them since my current shafts keep trying to push the clips out (ears are probably getting worn from so many hard miles), the motor should be back from the machine shop any day now, transmission got a new torque converter and TCC solenoid since it had a pending code and an output seal because it was $2 and I don't want to pull the trans back out anytime soon, plan to order bearings for the dana 30 soon and that should be everything to get it back wheeling strong fall semester.

Put a new seal in so I'm one step closer. The seal I took out was a single lip seal, but the new seal was a double lip seal which I found strange, but that's what WIT recommends so hopefully it's good.

Just leave it on the hoist at night.
The engine elves will install it while you sleep.

Both the company I got the crank from and the machine shop said it was fine and the guy I talked to said he had the same crank in his Jeep and was worried about it when he got it, but said it hasn't leaked a drop. They said that every single scat crank has come like that for the past 7 years. Anywho it runs and drives and has 35s again Highschool budget 1999 xj build-photo379.jpg
