Adjusted the joint on the drag link to pick it up off the tie rod. Put red lock tight on the jam nuts and the nuts in the steering and cranked them down tight. Since replacing the temp sensor the jeep runs better and hasn’t stalled, but the fuel mileage has dropped back down. Thinking about trying to put the drag link on the bottom of the pitman arm, but worried it’ll mess up the steering angles. I’m hoping to get my buddy to weld an ota track bar mount on over winter break and if I’m lucky maybe do some sleeves and c gussets over break. I want to do shock towers in the rear, but not sure when I can get those done. If I had my own welder and a place to put it I could get a lot more done on the jeep, but I don’t have anywhere with 220 that I can hook up to, and my mom won’t let me use the dryer plug and a drop cord. I may start looking at parts and finding sales and when I find someone who can help piece it together.

The Cherokee is getting 35s hopefully before the Harlan trip. I just can’t hang with the 33x10.5 ko2. I usually run like 10 psi or so and they just don’t hang with the 35s and most wont go below 15 psi and some aren’t locked front and rear. Probably going to get some mtrs because everyone else has km2 and I’d like to try something different and see how it does.

I've never ridden in a Jeep with MTRs that didn't ride like doodoo on the road. Off they seem to keep up. I'm a fan of the proven KM2. Maxxis makes a tire called the RAZR that's their radial Creepy Crawler

Maybe it's just me, never had a pair ride nice and KM2s did crawl overall better than MTRs in the same size at RC both aired down on standard soft 8 wheels. But either way 35s will be great!

I think I’m going to go to the tire shop in the morning and see what kind of deal I can get. If they give me a good enough deal I’ll get some 35s of some sort tomorrow and if not I’ll get rotated and balanced tires.

I ran 35" Km2s and they measured just over 33"s. I'm running Coopers St maxx in a (285/75/17) which is in between mud and all terrain and they measure 34" exactly as advertised, although they are narrower than advertised but my rim is 7.5" wide not 8". Cooper tires have beefy side walls, mine are almost 5/8 thick like my super swampers. Another good tire from Maxis is there Big horns. Similar tread to the old style mtr

Nah I’m just going to stick with 4.56 gears unless I break them somehow. Don’t have the money to regear and it’ll bring my highway rpms down. I’m tired of it screaming down the highway. Most guys in the club with 35s have 3.55 gears still so at least I’m somewhat correctly geared.
