If anyone is around uwharrie national forest, I €™ll be there October 20-22 with the clemson offroad club. It €™s a fun park to wheel and if anyone is around there it would be cool to meet new people as well. I believe chipmaker is planning on coming out for it as well.

Ordered the 6 piece 8 watt white infinite offroad rock lights. Couldn’t decide between 4 watt and 8 watt. So figured I’d just go with the brighter ones. Figure I’ll put one in the middle of the front, one in the middle of the back and one behind each front wheel well and one in front of each rear wheel well. Unless anyone has a better location suggestion. Plan to wire them up over fall break. Not sure what else if anything I’ll get done before next trip.

Installed the rock lights and looks like I’m day tripping gulches tomorrow and if nothing breaks too bad I’ll be taking it up uwharrie next weekend. Here’s some pictures of the lights. I can take pictures of light locations and stuff if anyone is interested. Wish I could’ve figured out how to get a little more light towards the middle of the jeep, but couldn’t figure out a good location to put them to get more light there. The nice thing about this kit is if I ever decide I want add more I can just buy individual ones and add them. There is enough plugs for up to 12 lights off the main splitter.

Made it up shipwreck in the Cherokee. Lots of scratches on the sliders, wheels, crossmember, bumpers and long arms. Broke a tail light on the slab at shipwreck. Definitely a good ride, and glad I went.

Not sure what the issue is yet since both of my roommates are already asleep so no one to look or turn the wheel, but when I went to the library a few hours ago something was popping fairly loudly when parking. Then I turned the wheel back and forth and could hear and feel the popping. Hopefully one of my roommates can help me check it out tomorrow before class so I can still leave on time for the trip.
