Took a bunch of stuff off of it. Some stuff for the motor pull and some for the cage install. This time I actually got a bin and organized the bolts because I got frustrated with the Comanche and the white Cherokee. I take so many cars apart at work and my personally stuff stays taken apart so long that I forget where I put stuff and where stuff goes sometimes. Hopefully this project will go smooth.

I am getting ready to pull all my interior out and will need to keep all the bolts separate. I'll probably just use ziplock bags though. I don't have anything like that laying around and don't want to buy anything specifically for it.
Good idea though.

You know I was actually planning to be in NC next week. Could have brought an engine out and made a little side trip down to you. But I have to stay home and babysit instead. Maybe next time.

Some pictures from the motor teardown. Some things I was really happy about and others were a little upsetting. Head gasket went in the same spot as last time, shining a light in the ports I can see a little light through the valves, bearings look amazing (too bad the crank and bearings won't get used) and not sure why the bumper or whatever you call it in the timing cover is broken in two.

That's slick. Says on their website black powdercoat.
I saved the link. I probably should get one of those...
I think my exhaust may hit it at the front though.
