I got it for free along with rods haha. Not sure if I would actually do it for this jeep or for the crawler. Still gotta do a lot of reading. If I actually do it. It ll be a 4.5 stroker. Cause I'm too broke to actually have the block bored and get the camshaft, etc etc.

Who knows. I may just bore out the cylinders myself

That crank looks like its been at the bottom of the ocean. the machine shop may not touch it with it being in that condition.

Been married almost 5yrs now been together for 10. She knows that working on vehicles is soothing for me, and that we both have our hobbies that cost money. Mine is jeeps/hot rods. And hers is books and video games and stuff for her business. She currently spends more than I do since she just bought a new Professional printer($3k), but she is a Graphic Designer.

That's awesome man. I've been married for 5yrs as well. My wife knows I'm going to spend it on the Jeep or a gun. I work hard for my money and I was gear head before she met me. I'm not changing and she respects that. We decide together when it's time to make a big purchase if the time is right. And I respect her for that.

Yea, I want more guns but i am running out of usable storage for them all. and i am not sticking a huge safe in my basement lol. i think the amount i have is right about where i want to stay. I have been doing automotive **** since i was 13 lol my dad got me into restoring cars with my Grandpa and him. it's been 17yrs now and i have owned 75 vehicles of various manufactures lol.

I haven't actually spent much on the jeep yet.

JKS front bar pin eliminators arrived along with Rough Country's rear shock flag nuts. I'm not even gonna attempt to get the rear upper bolts out. Probably easier and quicker just to punch out the weld nuts.

I think I need some adjustable upper control arms, rear bump stops, and few misc small stuff before the lift kit is ready for installation.
