Ok guys. The control arm brackets are installed. Its was kind of easy to install. Especially on a lift. LoL! Well heres some pictures of the install.

I felt a really big difference in driving. It makes it alot smoother over bumps. For $190.00 is well worth it. I bought these CAD Brackets from Rocky Road Outfitters and they seem alot beefier then the RC brackets. A+++ in my book.

I can't see from the pictures but is there a bracket on the other side of the upper control arm?
It seems to be pretty much identical to RC's that i have here except the support plate in the back. Mine has RCX on it but pretty much the same.
What did you do about the alignment caster shoes? Used the same ones or re-adjusted caster with new shoes?

I re-used the factory caster shoes with the shims.

No welding or Modifications. It bolted right up. It toke me about 2.5 hours but I had an extra hand and a lift. I also had to use the stock caster shoes. Which was no problem. The ones that came with the kit were to thick so I had to use the stock one.

Good info to know..I'd imagine their caster shoes were designed for their CA's...Thanks for the tip. I have a buddy with a lift and when I install it I may talk to him and see if I can borrow the space in his shop.. If not pavement it is...I have a creeper now so it's not so hard on the back..
Hey JC, Did you do one side at a time or drop the entire axle and then install them? I'll be doing this on a gravel parking lot so it's not gonna be as easy but i've done worse out there. Your kit came with caster shoes? The RC kit does not.

What i did was i dropped the lower control arms, installed the brackets, installed the lower control arms, then moved the upper control arms. But I did everything on a lift.

Why would anyone put all that $ in such a old rig that needed so much?
Hard with lift and upright tranny jack?
Change a trans on the side of the road and then tell us about it.
