yeah my jeep was owned by an older guy in virginia that bought it brand new. he brought it in to the stealership religiously and had it maintained like none other. ive got the carfax for the jeeps whole life..thats why i wasnt afraid of buying a rig with this many miles. still runs like a jeep with 100k less miles.

I was bored one day and desided to play with my dash. Heres the new dash. Tell me what you think.

I also moved the sound bar over my seat so when I remove the doors I still have tunes.

Please comment what you think. I would like any advice on what else you think I should do. Thanks

Jeepers, you and I are going to have to talk sometime next year.
Reading this thread has gotten me seriously thinking of taking my '93 and doing a 4x4 conversion on it. I just need to find a donor vehicle.
How hard would it be to do without air-tools and a lift? I may just do the axles and take the t-case/tranny to Wilsons 4x4 to let them put it on. Wonder what that'd set me back...
The dash looks sweet, very professional and clean. Where'd you get the speaker bar, or did you make that yourself?

Yep find yourself a donor for the t-case, front diff/axle and transmission and all the wiring and it can be done. I am sure jeepers would share his expeiences to help ya get it done without to much hassle..

So today I got a Thrush Glasspack muffler for dirt cheap so I decided to put it on for my. I wanted some noise
It wound up sounding real nice. Not loud and very deep. I thought I would be really loud. Not loud enough. But heres some pictures.

After that I finished rebuilding and installing my drive shafts. And now the 4wheel drive conversion is complete. And I went for a test drive and had some fun. It drives great. No noise in the transmission or transfer case. No vibration(atleast at low speeds) when driving. Im very pleased with the outcome of the conversion. Heres some pictures of its first time out.

Do you have a gas tank skid of some sort? or heat shield? I notice you have the exhaust pipe pointing right in front of it.
Good job on the conversion. I love to see people put their time and energy in converting a rig to their likings, especially a 2wd-4wd conversion. sweetness!
