Not much has changed, but I'll see what I can do to update this.
The XJ rarely leaves the shop, but I hope on changing the build more towards overlanding for exploring more of the beautiful PNW. I bought a friend for the XJ, a 2018 JLUR 3.6. Its amazing how much better the XJ is than the JL. Its actually rather pathetic, but with time the JLUR will earn its place.

I'd have to go back and figure out what ones I went with. They were a "No Lift" bracket that required cutting out the old ones, and bolting new ones in using the bolts in the rear for the hitch.
