So I got Boostwerks Engineering's "Ultimate Steering Brace". It sure look beefy. Can't wait to install it.

Christmas bonus is coming up soon. I'm thinking about getting chromoly shafts for the front, and do the high steer knuckles at the same time.

Not much of an update lately. Have been trying to get my purple DD jeep fixed to pass inspection then I can focus on this project...
However I was able to have some time to put new spicer ball joints on the Chevy high steer knuckles yesterday morning.

On other note, anybody wanna trade their 37" tires for my 35" tires?

lucky ***.... you got the stiffeners used too? What's making you want to get rid of the box? Just more room under the hood? I'm planning on ditching my K&N for the box and cowl snorkel due to all the water in FL... the spectres and THORs aren't available anymore unless you find 'em used like you did... and I could make one myself, but from what I've seen, it will be a PITA every time you want to change or service the filter - having to remove the wiper cowl. d'oh!
