Christmas bonus is coming up soon. I'm thinking about getting chromoly shafts for the front, and do the high steer knuckles at the same time.

Take lots of pictures during installation. I've looked at this brace before but there wasn't enough detailed pics for me to make any judgments on it.

Not much of an update lately. Have been trying to get my purple DD jeep fixed to pass inspection then I can focus on this project...

However I was able to have some time to put new spicer ball joints on the Chevy high steer knuckles yesterday morning.

On other note, anybody wanna trade their 37" tires for my 35" tires?

Picked up an used spectre cowl intake so I can eliminate my air box completely. Also picked up front and rear stiffeners Black Phoenix-image-3347587044.jpg

lol yeah happened to my friend. He put in a TB spacer with the spectre intake and put a dent on the hood. I wouldn't mind denting my hood if it happens.

lucky ***.... you got the stiffeners used too? What's making you want to get rid of the box? Just more room under the hood? I'm planning on ditching my K&N for the box and cowl snorkel due to all the water in FL... the spectres and THORs aren't available anymore unless you find 'em used like you did... and I could make one myself, but from what I've seen, it will be a PITA every time you want to change or service the filter - having to remove the wiper cowl.

lol. There's no such thing as used stiffeners. The guy I got them from didn't use it on his jeep and had it sitting on his garage floor for like 4 years
