I looked for a long time for a starter. Any XJ that looks nice up here, guys think they can get top dollar for it. I wasn't going to blow big money on a starter with a nice running motor, clean interior, nice body, etc. Not too mention, anything with a nice body, has been built for wheeling. Its a tough sacrifce, but a body always needs work after fab, so I don't see it as extra work, just necessary work.
I'm from Cali and so is my jeep and no offence but mine has rusted rims, the suspension is shot and its a 98 xj classic!!!!

I had a 98 GMC dually that would lay frame. I had nowhere near as much fab in mine as you do. It was huge, it looked like an oversized hearse. This is one of the most original ideas I've ever seen. Have you decided on a paint theme yet?

I was talking about the sides where the seam is on the side between the body and the roll pan, if that will be smoothed in to look like its all one piece of the body.

That seat came out killer, Im a fabricator myself and know how involved stuff like that can be.

Yes absolutely. It will be welded to the body and smoothed to perfection!! I left some extra metal on the top if I decide to do some custom tails. I am diggin the factory tails though.

Thanks boys it means a lot to have followers, especially from the Jeep world of big lifts and big tires, that are diggin it.

I love a fullsize dropped on its ****. I have thought of many ideas for paint. I now want to do the 97+ front end swap and paint the grill recession the same color as the flares/trim. No matter what I do, it will be two tone.

No sorry fellas! I am house sitting for my folks while they are in Mexico. I miss my truck. I feel like I would be getting a lot of work done, but they didn't want to leave their dog with anybody else so I am taking a break here.

I will use this time to get fired up to do the door bottoms when I get back.

No progress until the 26th at least.

Looks good! You're making me miss my old Ranger.

That's actually where my screen name came from. Lowrange. Low Ranger... It just fit in with the 4x4 thing too.

I just sold my 67 bug that was bagged all the way around. :/
