I hate people's "repairs". This was the passenger door. I didn't think it was as bad as it turned out to be. But I will have to do another door bottom on this side too.

It was just two layers of 22gauge steel epoxied to the rust behind it and then the trim was screwed to the metal.
BUT as a positive...this is my Cruisin' Cali stance!!

Goin out now to get some work done.

I've browsed this forum for more hours than I can even begin to describe, and I have never seen any amount of work here that even scratches yours in terms of man hours. And as far as fabrication and design skills, you have my envy and respect for sure, you are the best fabricator I've seen on the web. Your Cherokee is a wonder. I hate mini-trucks, so that's saying something. You've earned Canadians my respect sir. Did you say you were taking this to the Woodward Dream Cruise this coming August? I'd love to see you out cruising. You low and slow, me... about eight times higher. Haha. Would be great fun.
Again, fantastic work. Amazing thing you've created here.

Alrighty then. I took a break from doing the boring stuff that needs to be done, finishing all the floor welds, smaller patch panels, smoothing out the welds, sealer, and paint. I needed to have some fun. So I made a rough tail light filler box with triple frenched bullet tails. The only problem is that I can't decide if it fits the truck or not. Please help me. Don't hold back, tell me if you like them or not. They obviously have no bodywork done, and are just tacked.

I really don't know.

Try 59 caddy taillights (the long pointy ones) with about 2" sticking out on all 3 or maybe have the bottom one out 1", middle out 2" and top out 3"

yuck. No. Horrible. I'm thinking the stock tail lights look way better than that.
How about shave the whole tail light and french them into the bumper...
Hell I like he Clear lense red led trailer lights more than the tear drop lights.

Hey guys, I have a question.
What should I coat my floors with? I got a couple cans of asphalt sealer but its WAY thicker than I thought it would be. I have it warming up to see if its any better in the morning. Has anybody used this? It insults from heat and sound. Its like a cheap alternative to Lizard Skin.
What have you all used to seal and coat floors with?
