The picture of you touching the ground is epic!
That bumper looks schweet! Matches the rockers shape & kinda looks like a roll pan they put on trucks! Awsome work bud, can't wait to see the troll rolling!

Looks great! Major props for originality. The first picture I saw of your Jeep (the one with the rear bumper you built) I thought to myself "WTF he just set his Jeep on the ground without axles". My next project will most likely be a late 80's early 90's regular cab short bed Chevy 1500 on bags hopefully with a 454.

I don't understand what you mean? Its flush with the gate and tails...
I was tired of crawling around on my garage floor doing little firewall peices and front end work...so I made a bomber seat
I made a fullsize cardboard replica, folded it and taped it and checked the fit.

I then flatened it and transferred it to sheet.

Then I cut it out.

And I bent, shaped, and formed it.

Its just tacked for now and I have yet to make the mounts which is when I will set the final lay back angle.
Before you ask...yes its uncomfortable. But it fits perfect, gives me lots of headroom and I think it looks aight.

I also made my footwell. I was worried about not fitting all 3 pedals, but I will get them all under the dash!!! Very stoked.

I am cursed for finding parts for this thing. I had a chance on a parts truck. I talked him down to $500 from $1000 on the phone. I didn't want to pay anywhere near that. I went to look at it with $300 in my pocket. I talked him down to $450 and then $400 but he wouldn't go to $300. We shook on $400, I went to get more money and when I came back 10 minutes later he went back on his word. I wasn't mad, it wasn't worth $400.
I am going to make a new door bottom and if it turns out nice I will just run with that for primer stage and the spring show season.
