Almost looks like the bumper from my 58 chevy apachee. But my guess would be a late 50s ford pickup.

Later as in 60s or later as in 40s.
Don`t recall seeing anything like that in the 40s so I`m thinking 60s as in 60 or 61 Cadillac.

haha yes I just realized the confusion there...later as in 60's...1964 to be exact. Not a Cadillac and its a rear bumper if that helps.

Thanks Lt. Dan...that was my nickname in highschool btw

I did a little bit today. I will admit, I havn't been getting work done out of shear laziness...I apolojize. But this session of work made me want to work on it more so I may get some progress.

I started the rear portion of the floors that I didn't do, I welded a lot of stuff in, and I ran the airline along the frame and up through the floors. Also mock mounted the tank because I wanted to see it with the drive shaft tunnel

I know ya'll hate my cell pics...maybe I'll get a camera for Christmas hahaha

And for some fun...

hahaha YEAH!

Where abouts in London are you located? I'll be up there in a few weeks with the gf to see some of her family. Would be pretty cool if you did the doorless mod on this XJ too lol. I'm more of a classic car and lifted truck fan, but definitely respect the minitrucking crowd and the work they do (honestly, I've thought about having one a few times..).

I'm pretty much downtown near Wortley village. I started this thing having in mind lots of "offroad" touches (roof rack, rear tire carrier, brush guards, etc) but I honestly don't know what direction to go in now.

I got a metal delivery so I had no excuses not to work on it today. I took a couple hours in the garage, it was good times

I took this

and made it look like this

and then fitted it and fabricated the sides

This was the first time I've made anything like this. I am very happy with how it turned out. I obviously still have to tweak it a little, bang some low spots out, and bodywork. Its not welded to the truck yet.

Yay or nay? Ya'll like it?
