I just thought of this idea that I am going to try. I have already ordered the delete pulley but this could be a cheaper and better way to go if it works.

Got plenty done this weekend.
Finished up a buddy's long arm kit and mounted his tires on offset rims
Got the stuff for rear disk brakes for mine and put them on today. Still have park brake to fab up but wow night and day stopping power.
I also replaced my stock crossmember
I had trash orginal one enough to give me 4low issues. New to me member solved that.
Went 4 for 4 on buddies tires. Got to remember I'm a computer tech not a mechanic. I was proud of my balance job.
Very successful weekend and I am wore out...

Went to Superlift ORV park in Hot Springs AR last weekend. Couldn't have ask for better weather in July. Had a great time and very minor issues. I had a leak on drivers side hard line. I think I may have pinched it when installing the disk brakes the weekend before. I was prepared for that and had a plug with me and some spare fluid. 10 min fix. Buddies long arm kit sorta under preformed. We went the same distance on the RTI ramp. He was a little sore about that lol. he had minor issues too. His track bar bolts were coming a little loose quick fix. The samurai had a transfer case bushing give out also another quick trail fix.
Not many pictures but here is a video of our crew hitting a few of the trails. My Cherokee had no issue with any obstacle all day. I was the only one to go through the Rock garden and never had a problem.

My cuz was trying to load up the truck cab with tractor. Ended bad for tractor. Lucky he was ok. So I put the 12k tabor to work. Holy cow is that thing stout. I pulled the cab off tractor and flipped it twice with 1 ****** block. I have yet to get stuck since install but I have already gotten my money's worth out of it (paid $270 total for winch and new seolinods) It retails for around $700-800.

Well hunting season is over for me now. So hunting rig is now trail rig. Big project for this year is my axle swaps.
Found a Dana 30 with CAD at JY for $89 in perfect shape. It was loaded with 4.56 gears. I had to decide what I wanted to do with the rear. I found an XJ Dana 44 for $100 so I snatched it up. It was loaded with 3.73s but that's not a big deal. I then found a great deal on the gears for the D44. I got the 4.56s thick cut with master install kit for $150. I am going to delete the CAD on the new Axel.
Using my axles from my 95 (it has brand new u joints (bigger) and hub assemblies.
Complete Dana 30 with 4.56s= $89 (great deal)
Complete XJ Dana 44 = $100 (great deal)
G2 4.56 thick gears for D44= $150 (great deal)
CAD delete kit= $50
Wheel Bearings and seals D44= $140
TJ retainer plates for Disk Swap= $40
Ubolts 40 = $50
So waiting on parts So i can begin working on getting them together. Only part I am going to outsource is setting the gears on the D44. I just don't have the experience to try this yet.
I am also going to re-lift with this swap. I have a set of 5.5 inch RE springs and a new to me set of leaf springs to pick the rear up since they are sagging pretty bad.
Not sure what else I am going to run into but I'm sure there will be a few things. I am way under budget for now tho. I told the wife I would be under 1k and so far so good.

heck ya. I went to JY that day to look for 4.10s in a 30 then was gonna do the 8.8. When I found 4.56s I had to change my whole plan but will be awesome when its complete. I will actually be in the category of a few with to small of tires for power and gear ratio haha.

I changed plan again lol. I found an 8.8 with 4.56s and already had the xj conversion kit. Got it for $250. Now I have a bunch of dana 44 stuff to sell. I got it back on its own weight today.
