When I done my Door-less I thought of this to keep from having to worry about all the wires since I have Power everything. Relocating the switch made it to where I only had 4 wires for the driver door instead of 20+. This also gave me a good opportunity to clean all the connections and since the windows roll up faster. Also relocated the Speakers to the Kick Panels (kickers in the Kickers lol)

Got one side rear brakes done. This was quite the job. It seems every time I but any type of seal I get the wrong one from the parts store lol. Only way to get the right one is to take old one with you.
Tomorrow get the axle seals and other side brakes. Then lock right and paint diff cover which is going to be cool.

One side brakes done. Got held up by getting the wrong Axle seals from the parts store. I Have never gotten the correct ones without having the old seal with me.

Its been a while since I have updated.

I got the locker installed and figured out something interesting. I had a Dana 35 Locker and an C8.25 rear end. I didn't realize that until a week after the install. It was working great. Its been in there since without issues.
My guess on why it worked is the combination of
Dana 35 lock right
C8.25 Cross pin
C8.25 C-clips with a little grinding.
Attachment 185044

I also painted my Diff cover while I had it off. I think is suits me.
Attachment 185045

Attachment 185047

I done rear brakes and seals while I had it apart too. I used zip ties to compress the springs and then just cut them and bam. That made the job alot easier.

You put a D35 locker in an 8.25? That's interesting... nice paint job on the diff btw.

Yeh it was funny I have searched high and low and it was the first time that it had ever been done. I would have never tried to do it if I knew before hand. I am glad that I did now since its something different haha. Thanks. I thought the paint job would just be temporary, but it seems to be holding up.

Cuz its BatMoJeep lol.

So, does spline count not matter for that type of locker? Or are they the same?

I ripped my motor mount bracket off the block during a ride (too much skinny pedal)
I ordered brown dog brackets and they are amazing.
Attachment 185051

Too much flex and messed up the tranny lines. I don't have any fixed pics but I used rubber line to repair.

Yes spline count does matter. It was Dana 35 spline. Mine is C8.25 spline. Apparently the shafts are close enough the same for the side gear of locker to fit onto axels.
