Today's progress...
Wasn't really much but knocked a few hours off of the to do list.
With much appreciated help from Cherokee37.

Pulled coils out, waiting on upper bumpstops to come in.

Unbolted shocks and found the compressed length I'll need with the bump stop setup.
Ordered skyjacker H7059's for the front & H7087's For the rear.

Pulled calipers but couldn't come up with a socket to fit lugs and fit inside wheel spacers :-/

Tore down pass. Side and removed axle, removed old u-joint from said axle.
Went and picked up needed parts at local parts store...

Full droop.<br/>16.5" from axle tube to frame work.

Well finished it up for the time being.

Couldn't find anywhere to max out the flex, niether end is fully drooped and it still has stock shocks on the rear.
Spring plate bumpstops have been back ordered, just received an email notification for shipment on them, will get rear setup once they get here.
This will probably be it for awhile.

So spring plates came in.
Got them installed with new u-bolts and hardware.
Installed the H7087 shocks in the rear.
Put the tires on with 25 psi since I'll have a mixture of road and trail driving.

I haven't found anywhere to max out the potential flex but I did manage to find a spot where I could stuff the tires up against the body until it quit pulling.
Looks like she needs to loose some more sheet metal.

So more triming on the front fenders and for the back I'm not real sure.
All there is to trim would be the welded seam.
Idk if it's OK to cut and fold it or not.
There's also an identical seam in the front fender well.

I abused the poor old Heep all summer and up into the fall, thanksgiving was the last ride she made.
Was alot of fun, didn't have any failures.

With winter time arriving I was starting to plan the bodywork and engine rebuild.
But side work never slowed so I decided to put an add on craigslist in search of an engine donor.
Ended up scoring this '94 2wd auto for $300.

They had given up on it, got it to run and it runs well, A/C even works.
Body is a huge upgrade over the '91 so I'm starting a new project.
First it's swapping the trans and transfer case over and getting it ready to be a winter time comuter.
