I have a 29 spine right now...Im doing the ford cause the axle tubes are stronger and there is much more aftermarket support for them.

Plans
-Rear
8.8 out of an explorer with a tracloc (LSD)
IRO truss
New rotors, rebuild caplipers, new pads, lines
Heavy duty diff cover
4.56's

-Front
Dana 30 HP out of later model XJ
4.56's
Transfer over my brakes cause there brand new
Heavy duty diff guard
TNT truss with heavy duty CA mounts
and If I can afford it a selectable locker

Thats sick man! a few more questions. Whats wrong with your D30? Is it Low Pinion? And I know a few people with Aussie Lockers in the front. Not sure if you know much about em but they engage on their own...my friend actually justgot his in 4 days ago, along with 4.56s and he said it is virtually INVISIBLE

You would have the same set up as me... you need LCA's, Sway bar endlinks, ADJ. tracbar, and straiten your hard brake lines. Other than that you should be fine.

For now yes however I am getting more and more vibes espically when im merging onto the freeway when I really get on it. Its sorta scary you can hear the driveshaft whippin. the Ujoints arnt gone yet but I do weekly checks. Like I said before I get my axles im ordering my SYE. But for right now its okay and I urge people to install a t case drop then work for an SYE. Plus when you install a t case drop it lowers the exhuast too and I hate that. Im looking forward to smooth driving soon.

So a little bit of an update here.

Did some little stuff.

Trimmed the front fenders another inch or so and hammered over the pinch in the inside of the wheel tub.

Then was gonna re-bedline my 1/4's until i found this.

Guess i didnt get all the rust about a year ago. So I did this

Now I gotta do the other side...
