Picked up a stock 2000 Jeep Cherokee as my first car

The specs:
100,000 miles
4.0L I6
Aisin-Warner AW-4, 4 speed auto
NP242
Front axle : Dana 30
Out back : Chrysler 8.25
A week after I had it it died in the driveway (slow crank needed new battery)

After I got it running again my buddy and I built a back seat cupholder out of wood lol

After that I noticed that at night there was no light shining thru the gear selector so i took the cover off and found the light was shoved down by the T case handle

Next i decided i couldnt see good enough at night so i added some el cheapo 55watt driving lights and since one of my stock fog lights didnt work i just removed them and wired the new lights in using the existing harness

The lights realy helped with visiblity at night and yes 55 watt are legal to run on the road
After getting those on I moved on to the intake i ditched the stock airbox for a cone filter and a couple of 4 inch spacers I made a little bracket that bolts to the fender well and extends up to the filter and it hold the whole thing in place. I also made a heat shield out of some home depot sheet metal and
painted it black.

there is a lot of discussion saying that useing the stock airtube wont gain
you any power but i have found this mod gave better throttle reponce and more low end power
Next, I wanted to change the Diff. fluid so just got some oil and all the tools and did it then painted the diff. covers red

As it sits now all those mods and a little dirty hehehehe

And for future mods include by summer Rustys 3 inch lift with full packs, Cragar soft eights, 32" BFG AT, going flareless and gonna so some trimming to clear 32's, and Rustys catback with a flowmaster 40
