I hate to be a broken record, but with the shopping going on this weekend/next week with Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I would appreciate anybody and everybody that uses my Amazon Partner link: http://amzn.to/2fvS3By By clicking on this link it lets amazon know that you were "referred" to them by me, and I get credit to be able to get things to review for my youtube channel. Thank you!

New tires tomorrow!
what is it about new tires that is so exciting? I am actually getting 6 total, 4 for my jeep, and two of the tires that were on the jeep are going to my b4000, and getting two new tires.
Jeep will have trail diggers,
b4000 will have a mix, two hercules all tracks and two yokohama geolanders (why? because they were the best price for a brand I knew).
So 6 tires, 9 mounts (third tire for the jeep is being mounted as a spare). $900 out the door. I think that's a reasonable price.

Change of plans, still getting 6 tires, but 2 will be Hercules Terra Trac A/T II and 4 will be Terra Trac T/G MAX tires. Why? because that's what's available today. Looks like the trail diggers are out of stock (probably stopped making them) and the yokohamas wouldn't be available until tomorrow, so they are giving me a deal on the terra track A/T II's.

Things to do on the jeep:
1) Figure out why the brakes suck.
2) replace broken motor mounts
3) replace rear main seal
4) Replace oil pan gasket
5) re gasket front diff and fill with fluid
6) save up for roll cage
7) save up for seats
8) new radio, hate the one I put in
9) save up for engine swap, really want a turbo diesel.

Well I broke and took my jeep into the shop because it failed emissions in a spectacular way... Needs a new ECU, New evap hoses, new cat, new o2 sensor, and that doesn't address the brakes, a/c leak, or the massive blowby that is happening... The shop is being very reasonable on prices, so hopefully I can get it all done, and have a driving jeep again.

New fuel tank, new fuel tank lines, new ECM, and a new catalytic converter (and having the shop fix the leaking schrader valve on the A/C) and it passed emissions. Time to register it for another two years, and recover my wallet from having somebody else diagnose and fix the issues. Bust supposedly the shop said its running cleaner than some new cars, so that's a good thing I guess? should get better fuel economy (was getting like 6-8mpg.)

Seriously, owning a vehicle that costs as much as my jeep does that sits 95% of the time is a bit rough... Its a good thing that 90% of its cost come from my youtube channel/amazon partnership, or my wife would have used the jeep to bury my body in the desert somewhere...
