List of things I plan on doing next on my XJ:

1) you get what you pay for, my replacement engine leaks like crazy, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, and while doing that might as well do my rear main seal. transmission pan gasket, and intake/exhaust gasket need to be done too.
~$50 in gaskets, but hours of labor.

2) front seats, driver's side is a bit collapsed, will replace both, something more supportive and comfortable on a long bumpy road.
~$500 in seats

3) take front suspension off completely, remeasure control arms, put in new bump stops, etc.
Free (already have the bump stops) but Hours of labor

4) "3rd row" Need to add at least one more seat to fit the whole crew in
~$250 Already picked one out, a best top unit.

5) roll cage, internal, Bolt in.
~$1200

6) upgraded brake system. my brakes don't seem to hold up to the added weight of the tires etc.
~$300

7) paint, no idea on color yet but need some awesome AIC off road decals.
~$2500

8) front/rear bumper
~$1400

so i need to come up with almost $6500 to pay for all this junk... this list is more or less in order.

You know you can upgrade your booster for under $100 from a ZJ or '95-96 XJ dual diaphram booster? I'm on 33s with the stock booster and can't complain.

Oh ok, that'll add to it. Good luck, the project is never done.

I know! That's just my plan so far. I have a sponsorship that will cover some of the cost, which I'm really excited about!

so we'll see.

if you sign up for their mailing list, you will get notified of when they do things like free shipping and other discounts. I get them all the time at least.

You can get colors! Would be tough and easy to touch up, only downside is weight and if you want to take it off for repairs or something, but I'd imagine a good wire wheel would work.
