Been a long time guys but i need some Help. froze up the other night and burned up a belt with a frozen water pump. replace belt and now she's over heating. replaced coolant resivour cause the threads were a mess, and that seems to fix it, but now i have a wisp of steam coming from the "it think radiator drivers side" but i can't find the exact source. the pump still moves coolant when it warms up so it appears to still work, but it's not a heavy flow, more of a trickle.

my question how much coolant should the return line be pumping into the resivour and do i replace the radiator, replace the pump, replace the fan clutch, or just carrry extra coolant and top it off everyonce in a while cause i'm broke till spring and don't wanna wrench in the cold.

PS. no traces of oil in the coolant or vice versa.

gotta a 4 hour road trip coming up in a week and need to make it there and back. help me out XJ guys. most recent pic of "the Dirty Goat" in the backround.

found the culprit to the missing coolent and steam. Jacked radiator. $107 at VatoZone for OEM is my money better spent on a dual core rad and if so where can i grab one on the nickel as opposed to the dime?

Pics since i've been gone for close to a year, but I'm back

gonna be replacing some brake lines this weekend. might be also welding in some patch plates in the rear fenders. since i trimmed the rear quarters the rain, snow, sleet and road dirt has been splashing up into the brake light assembly area. took me a new socket wiring harness on each side due to corrosion to figure out what was going on. a quick fix was a can of great stuff foam to seal it of but think i might go with something a lil more perminent.

as always pics to come

Front break lines replaced and also pulled the rear drums and cleaned them out real well. road grime and dirt was making the back brakes almost inoperable. nice brake ration front to rear now. wife was pissed cause i used the dish scrubber thing with a handle and brake cleaner.
