Man, that's fantastic! Subscribed of course.
Started like shy mouse, but goes mad

Looking at all upgrades You've made I'm still thinking about one thing - weight.
Don't You afraid that all of that solid steel parts and D60 would make it very heavy?
I don't know purpose of it, but deep mud may just soak You.
Sorry if it's stuppid question, I'm just painting my valve's cover, that's all my mods so far, but who doesn't ask doesn't get answers

stock there around 3000lbs. this one might tip 4000 when im done. dont care. shooting for bullet proof and flexy yet can still stay somewhat streetable. always have options for other occasions

my dd is going to be 4in lift and locked on some 31in ats 4.10s

my tough truck/temporary wheeler rig is going to be 3in lift 33in muds, full cage stripped and weldded diffs (8.8 and d30) with 4.10s (should be around 2500lbs)

my work truck. just got saturday. is going to be 4 in on 31 ats . o yeah and its an 88 comanchee

i have all the parts to do the other ones laying around so there getting done first. this one needs more money thrown at it that i dont have at moment. so i will be selling some stuff and building up money for parts while i work on the other ones

Hi Mate. I have just read the whole thread 4Hrs (sitting on a Rig in the middle of the Gulf of Thailand) and have to say I'm impressed. I have not long bought my first Jeep (96XJ) and will be getting into the mods as soon as I get home. Having read this I'm realy fired up. I have 36" Swampers and a Set of TJ flares waiting so will do the lift first (trying to keep it down to 3-4") so will be doing lots of cutting and your work has given me plenty of info to go on Thanks Mate. In case you havn't guessed I'm from New Zealand and Have wheeled For many years with Nissan's so looking forward to having somthing that doesn't weigh over 5000lbs. Cheers Keep up the work I'll be watching and Learning. Leon.

first off i just got done reading all 33 pages of this. awesome. man i look forward to working on my jeep when i get home.

the hummer wheels you have. you might wnat to ditch teh magnesium runflats you have. if you get a flat and tun it they are fire proned and you wont put the mad run flat out. the jeep will be a total loss. this is why we dont run them in the military any more. whe run a rubber one.

this guy is a great source of surplus hummer wheels and tires

look forward to more of your progress. i will be doing a LA 4inch IRO lift when i get home. i ordered my new motor yesterday. i should be back stateside in sept. and i am very fortunate that one of my closest friends manages a junkyard. so she hooks me up very good. i got a eplorer axle for my buddys tj for 100 bucks and she even delivered it for me. its good to know people. My jeep is not my DD. it will be my foul weather gas saver rig and adventure/mild wheeling rig. my mustang is my good weather DD adn my f350 is the tow rig.

im either guna cut them down or do the pvc imserts if i have the dough.

havent been in the shop in about a month and a half. had a renter right me a really big bad check and just abandon the place leaving all her **** behind (crap) and the place unlivible. so doing complete remodel. eating up all my time and instead of the extra $800 a month im used to getting im having to dump about $3500 into it. so im very very broke.

damn i feel your pain. i been down the suck *** renter route. when i got home from my last deployment i returned to a destroyed house. 10k later i was able to move back into it. Even better the outfit i had manageing it was collecting my rent money and pocketed it. They werent paying the morgtage. SO i was also 90 days late and almost lost the house. Thank goodness i reenlisted while i was overseas so my bonus payed for it. So wasted my toy money. and even better when i went ot file a lawsuit they folded up and went out of business. so yaaa buddy i was left holdin my ankles screaming for some astro glide.

reading your build has given me lots of ideas for my jeep when i get home. 2 more months come on calendar start flipping. i look forward to some more updates from ya.
