cherokees arent really for show, more for go where you want...and you have put a lot more work into that thing, then say someone with just bushwhackers and big tires. not saying bushwhackers arent awesome, but that jeep is pretty much 100% custom...i think that deserves a cherokee of the month.

got a pretty good craigslist deal today for the jeep. 5 16.5x10 millitary take off hummer wheels with double beadlock and run flats. $175
(ill dig out my powder coater and make these babies pretty)
4 34x12.5x16 supper swamper truxus 1/4 tread for $60
(not useable for me but already got offered $125 so im good)
since i had a bit of help out at the shop today i got the wheel tubes set and tacked. there is only a 1/4in difference between the 2 but you would know unless i told ya

nope. i am guna run full width axles but dont wanna be super wide. so im keeping the stock bs of the hummer wheel (7in) back will be fine. front i plan on buying flat top knuckles and making or buying high steer arms that will work within the wheel.
my axles arent here yet but should have this weekend or first part of next week so i will get true width. but i figure i will only be like 1.5in wider on each side than i am now with 3.75 bs soft 8s on stock axles
7in bs was the whole point of the hummer wheels in my mind. i can make a beadlocks but there illegal to run on road. the hummer ones are dot approved for on road use which is also a plus
if ya can find them the magnesium run falts are 20x easier for guys like you and me to mount. the rubber run flats are a little nicer but take a ton of work to get in the tire. whatch it on you tube its kinda funny

yeah i saw that video lol and id like to keep the wheels like they are but when i originally got the tires i wasnt planing on the axle swap . ill have my 360 magnum soon .so ill have plenty of hp to turn 37s . just not to sure how long the d30 and d35 will last lol ....... like you i was driving my project while i was working on it . but now i got a spare ride so i got the jeep stripped right now ready for v8 power. do you think ill have any problems with running a carb over running fuel injection on the magnum .. i was figuring id go with a hei distributor to get rid of all the computers and wires that only cause problems in the mud and water

haha, effin sweeet....makin ur own, or the famed dean's custom?
