seriously considering 3/4 ton full widths with a 7in back spaced wheel. would only be 1.75 wider on each side wthan i am now.. what do ya guys think?

they sell off set high steer arms made for just such applications

If you can get the deal on the 3/4 ton goods I would do it.... I would cage it and tie it all in after that.

did u go with the 3/4 tons??

or is it the rear fenders/tubbed wells u'r finishin?? (which i'm uber excited to see)

well i bought a 79 high boy front end (dana 44, high pinion, 4.10s, disk brakes) today for $250. duno what im guna run in the rear yet. but wanna try and get the tub finished. when i figure out what rear end i wanna get then ill flip my leafs around (4in rear stretch) and build my ubes. but that wont take very long. front is whats guna take all the money and fab. im not in to big of hurry as im not driving daily anymore

pretty sure that what im going with. my buds do alot of dirt track figure 8 racing around here and have alsorts of stuff laying around for them. and i think a couple even have 67in ones laying around. thats why i wasnt sure yet. it all comes down to what i can get for free and what i gota find cheap.

and i think i got the front end at a pretty good deal. hes pulling it. steam cleaning it, and dilivering it wed or thursday all for $250

yea, i'd say that's a pretty good deal....i fend for myself round here, so i'd be prolly be lookin at $250 just for the 44 axles & housing, & i'd have to clean it myself, haha

what size tires u thinkin to run?...u goin high steer/otk, &/or hydraulic?
