Just read the entire post... Great stuff, hope you keep it up. This is a great post for motivation and inspiration.

I have a fabrication company here in San Diego, love to weld and fab things.

I you ever need any help with welding advice just let me know. ( it doesn't look like you do though, just love welding and talking about welding and fab).

Hope all is well in the home front.

i appreciate the nice comments. most of my stuff stems from being a cheap as s. i hope to start stepping up in quality and degree of difficulty soon now that im getting better tooling rounded up.

the thing i like most about my build is that anyone can do everything ive done so far with basic tools. so far its been a poor mans build. give me another week or two and hopefully i will be doing some cooler things that i havent had money to do up until this point

Sounds good, I will be looking for the updates. Having the proper tools is the key to any great build, it just takes time to acquire them.

Looks clean, how much did you have to pay for it?

Not bad.... I need to find another one, because my son is taking the one we have to collage. We used to find them all over the place, cheap. $400 to $1000 all day long, not any more.

yeah i was buying like 6-10 every winter to part out. not after cash for clunkers. even at dealer auctions they are going for 3 times what i think there worth. so now i just make parts but even steel is through the roof. gay

Cash for clunkers did kill it. Now you need to keep your eyes open for those that are sitting in back yards.
