played in the shop a little. decided to finish the prototype bumper. i dont think it looks to bad. next one will be even more polished. this one is flawed so i will probably throw it up on craigslist and hock to buy more metal. they want the price of gold for it these days

flooded shop is also pictured. wet feet

got the jd2 model 3 yesterday. 5.5 1.5 180 die, anti spring back, degree wheel, handle, and magnetic pointer. 724.24 shipped.

they wanted $135 for the base i just decided to make one.

base 11x11 5/16
2 36in 2in .25 wall tubing
and a piece of 2x12 3/8 at the top

should be stronger than what they sell and it was just crapp laying around

Love your jeep man. You ever wheel it much? This whole thread I just read and I only saw 1 wheelin' trip.

Looks good though, someday I will have a shop close to yours, until then it's a non-heated 1 car garage haha.

i dont have many wheeling spots around here. miobi is about it for the good stuff. i get a call about every 3-5 weeks to go pull people out. i do and then play some but doesnt really entertain me to go mudding.

miobi is only open to public 3 times a year and i go everytime they are open i just dont useually take many pics. hopefully i will have this pos done in the next 2-3 months so i can start a deticated wheeler.

remember this is what i drive EVERYDAY

Oh, that kinds sucks, and i'm not much for mudding either. It is HIGHLY frowned upon around here.

I wasn't knocking ya man, was just wondering, it's a badass DD. A little overkill, though ha. Mine isn't near that built and it's a sever weather rig and wheelin rig. Doesn't see DD duty.

i just like to know i can go wheeling any time i want. drive it there then drive it back. and not have to worry about it breaking. plus when you drive you rig everyday you know exactly whats going on with it. you know what it can do alot better than something you drive once a month. i know every sound and creek my rig makes
