Had broken u-joints since miobi. did you know driving around with broken u-joints will make your wheel bearings go to hell.

not much but atleast i did something

upgraded to 01 axle shafts (have larger u joint)
also did wheel bearings
wire wheeled and painted diff cover

see the size difference?

Wow man, I just finished reading your whole thread and all I can really say is keep going! Your Jeep is exactly why I bought mine: As a cheaper project vehicle I could do horrible things to and it would be MINE. I've already did a lot of little things to mine after buying it a month ago and I'm always learning more. Your thread has been a great inspiration and help and I'll have to post mine up here soon even if it won't be as impressive. Right now a half finished cargo rack is sitting in my living room being made from 2x8' grid that I'm pondering over how to make certain bends in.

If you find yourself going through Hell, keep going!

What exactly do you do for work? I kept thinking throughout this whole thread that you must be some sort of secret super Jeep builder masquerading as a pool boy during the summer.

oh my god... i saw this thread and thought "oohh pictures!" and then i got sucked in and am so incredibly jealous of you.. then you have the tools and space to do this.. but its a pretty nice jeep keep up the good work. i'm the same way with need sleeping when you have ideas.. you just reasearch it to no end and then are like "welp, lets do this chit!" keep us posted though man. good stuff!

btw.. took me a good 2 and a half 3 hours to go through this thread
