They are actually for the transfer case to drop it down to eliminate the vibrations I'm having. I got them for free from a local forum member. But I checked on rustys website they go for 28 bucks.

So I'm noticing my jeep is leaning a tad towards the passenger side. Hopefully it's just part of the lift settling in. But I'm not going to be happy if that's how it continues to sit. I'm **** about that stuff.
Someone tell me it's going to be ok
lol I already sent rough country a question about so that they are aware
Edit: Well I feel pretty dumb... When I parked in known flat ground back at home the jeep is perfectly straight. Oops
false alarm!

What do you guys suggest for some steering component upgrades? I really think the jeep could benefit from some steering changes. I'm not afraid to admit when I am clueless about something and I am when it comes to steering components. Just never had to change anything on my 95.
So if this were your rig.. What would you get?? Zj tie Rod... Etc etc
Another examole: My stock power steering pump is pretty whiney (it has fluid) .. I hear the Durango box is a direct bolt in?

Mine didn't come with ends. Only the passenger side as it is one piece. The adjuster sleeve and TRE on the driver side is the same part number for the XJ drag link sleeve and end.
My coworker has the Rustys tie rod kit and his zerk fitting hits the sway bar link. My AutoZone ZJ tie rod is sealed non serviceable so there is no clearance issue. I have pics in my build but also check out a local members build, Project Hippo. He lists the part numbers if you need em.

I really would like to do the one ton steering that's awesome.. But not anytime soon. Lol
Zj tie Rod it is then. What about drag link, and track bar? I plan on going maybe an inch or two bigger. But for the time being I wouldn't really benefit from an adjustable track bar right? At what lift height do you need a new Pitman arm?
Steering noob here^
Oh and how much did the zj tie Rod run you new?

To go along with the Durango steering box I would highly recommend the Serious Offroad 1 Ton steering upgrade, you can do either UTK or OTK. I'm picking up the OTK kit for my XJ.

I'm not sure what happened to his build either. Haven't seen or heard from him in a while.
The drag link is the same for XJ, TJ and ZJ. I replaced mine with a lifetime warranty one from AZ along with the sleeve and TRE at pitman arm. My entire steering linkage is lifetime warranty now.
I also have a RC adjustable track bar. Although it serves its purpose and has an excellent warranty, I have had to change the axle end twice already in less than a year.

What is the advantage with the over the knuckle opposed to the under the knuckle? I really like the one ton stuff. That would be sweet.

Yea, everyone I have talked to has recommended the OTK because I'm on the fence already about going to 33s or 35s I can't really decided but they say if your going to 35s it's a must...but everyone has opinions so we'll see what happens lol

Lol yeah I hear you... When I get the 33's on mine I'm prepared to have to upgrade some stuff. I'm probably going to be pushing it using the stock gears with 33's too.
