I'm at a crossroads here.
I searched for literally years for a skid plate. When I finally found one in the junkyard it was mangled. And I spent hours bending it back into shape, sanding it down and painting it. I have it off now simply because I'm working on the front end and it's a pain to take on and off.. But I'm kind of liking the look without it. And I don't know if I'll re install it. If I do I think I'll just repaint it black. Maybe it was just too much green. Don't get me wrong I like the green on my jeep. But I don't want to over do it. There is a fine line my friends.

True. Whatever I take off my jeep or upgrade always gets a good cleaning and a paint job. I guess it's all in what you paint. There is a dude around me selling an otherwise stock xj besides lime green wiper arms front and back, a lime green stripe on the hood, and green lights everywhere on the interior. I'm not one to pick on someone's rig... But It just didn't look right. He was trying to trade it for a Honda. Go figure. Lol
