Dude the XJ looks awesome with those new tires on! Love the stance. My suggestion would be 456 gears at least that's the route I'm going this summer. I'm going to be running 35's as well but I don't plan on doing any hardcore climbing or rock climbing so the 456s will do me fine for expedition/mud/trails/forestry roads, plus a few cross country pilgrimages to Moab and such lol. I plan on dropping $3k this summer between new tires, rims, and both axles being over hauled w/ the 456s and Yukon zip lockers or OX Lockers.

I'm at a crossroads here.
I searched for literally years for a skid plate. When I finally found one in the junkyard it was mangled. And I spent hours bending it back into shape, sanding it down and painting it. I have it off now simply because I'm working on the front end and it's a pain to take on and off.. But I'm kind of liking the look without it. And I don't know if I'll re install it. If I do I think I'll just repaint it black. Maybe it was just too much green. Don't get me wrong I like the green on my jeep. But I don't want to over do it. There is a fine line my friends.
