guess I'm on a little bit of a spending spree.
ordered a 258 piece craftsmen tool set, and just ordered a Rugged Rudge SYE for my jeep as well.

Looks good Rob, I look forward to following this. Question, how do you acquire a build sheet? I'd be interested in doing this as well.

well, also, friday I will be picking up another HP Dana 30 (as long as it's an HP) this friday along with a front driveshaft.
I'm getting another front axle because the trackbar mount is bent on this one, and when we got it back on the road my dad got offset ball joints (shop said to). so for me when I lift with the adjustable TB, the offset joints would have it off. so instead I'm just getting another one to swap in when I'm ready. I'll probably put new brakes on it as well before I swap it in.
anyway. that depletes most of the lift money I had, but I don't mind because hopefully I'm about to get a new job, and I'm going to have some work around the house that my parents will be paying me for. so I'll be able to replenish the lost money soon. though either way I don't feel bad about it because it was all spent on good stuff.
Tires and wheels which I wanted anyway for when I lift, same with SYE and the driveshaft. the tools I felt are more like an investment. they were the only money not towards the Jeep directly.
and when the time comes. there is going to be a **** ton of work to the Jeep in a short period of time.

Now I have pretty much everything I need except the lift kit.
SYE
33" Tires
Rims with better backspacing
Front axle and Front driveshaft coming later
everything else comes with the kit.

also used the tow hooks this past weekend. the first time was to help anchor another xj that was sliding using the winch. worked very well.
the second time i was stuck in some mud since i only have crappy street tires for now. worked great!

and now I've turned it into this so far....
still got a lot to do, but it's much more off-road capable than when i got it.

well I had a little fun today.
just a little flexing
and stuffing tires....
and SKID PLATES!
also, my next 2 paychecks are going towards some interesting stuff. funny how plans change. at least for a little while. I want to put them 33s to use!
also, put a nice hole in my muffler, and I have a cracked manifold....
