yeah seems like it. I want it because it is available, and I don't want a D35 with 35s....

That wouldn't be too fun. I would have built one if I didn't have my other 8.25 for free.

well I'll post a picture tomorrow, but as of now my Jeep is still sitting in my driveway with a stockpile of parts in it.

I just need 2 more things before I can get it running again. (Thermostat and Radiator Hoses)

parts I have in the Jeep to install.

Radiator
Hood Vents
Durango Steering Box
Gasket set (mainly valve cover and head gasket)
APN Exhaust Header
Putco Headlight Harness
Rampage H4 Headlight Conversion Kit

Will be getting 703 injectors in the near future.

and this weeks paycheck is paying for a Ford 8.8 as well to get ready to swap in.

and I'm undecided on exactly what wheels I want to get. Going to be Black Rock 15x8 steelies with 4" BS, but do I want the 5 spokes or D-windows again?

Definitely runs a lot smoother now and better throttle response.

The spark plugs were beyond the acceptable gap.

Really need to start doing some TLC stuff to the Jeep. When i get upgaded axleshafts for the front i'm going to throw some timken hubs on as well.
what did you use to clean out the intake?

A tech at the dealership i ise to work at had some stuff. Forget what it was called, but after the tune-up and that I could really feel a difference.

Anyway I have all the parts now to fix my Jeep, and now it's just a matter of finding time do it. Right now is a time I really wish I had a garage that I could work in.

I'm really trying to have it back on the road by the new year.

well I got the Ford 8.8. it currently has 4.10 gears and factory LSD.

I won't be ordering anymore parts until after christmas. but I really want to build this 8.8 up. and that will be my next project for the jeep (after fixing it that is)

4.56 gears
IRO Swap kit with truss
some sort of aftermarket LSD eventually

right now I really wish I had a garage right about now otherwise my Jeep would be fixed and back on the road by now.

right now there's 2 different possibilities that might come up for that, and then I'm going to get somewhat bigger tires than what's on it now (going to be getting 30s) and then i'll just daily drive it like that until I get all the parts to overhaul it.

well this past sunday I was going to take my Jeep over to my aunts house to use her garage, but because of the weather I was unable to do that. so this next coming weekend (weather allowing) I will be taking it over there and tearing it apart, getting the head to the machine shop, and then either sometime that week or the following weekend put it back together again and hopefully I'll have a running Jeep again.

parts to put on during this time:

new head gasket
valve cover gasket
paint valve cover
703 injectors
APN Header
new radiator
new thermostat
new radiator hoses

wire electric fan to a switch as well.

Keep up the progress!

thanks, i'm working on it. I'm hoping things will speed up with this soon. I still have a bunch of parts to put on, and parts to save $$ for.

I had to spend money on xmas presents and such. after xmas I really need to save some $$ and pay my parents back the amount I owe them now which isn't that much. I surprised them with a nice wad of cash a little bit ago.

hoping by the end of january I'll be able to just pour a good amount of my income into this thing. I really want to at least get the new lift, 35s, regeared and rear axle swapped in (all the big expensive stuff) done ASAP so I can get a car to daily drive. well I'll daily drive both really...but I really want a car.
